Babbo Italian Eatery proudly invites you to its fifth annual Baseball for Babbo Day of Giving, a heartfelt event dedicated to raising funds for the fight against pancreatic cancer. On this special day, all eight Valley Babbo Italian Eatery locations will donate 100% of their profits to support the Seena Magowitz Foundation’s funding of a critical clinical trial at the Medical College of Wisconsin, in partnership with the HonorHealth Research Institute.
A Tribute to a Beloved Leader
This event honors the legacy of Ken Pollack, the late founder of Babbo Italian Eatery, a devoted baseball fan who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in late 2022. The name “Babbo,” meaning “daddy” in Italian, reflects Ken’s role as a guiding figure to both his family and the Babbo team.
“My dad lived by the philosophy, ‘If you give, you will get; and if you get, you should give,’” shared Taylor Schultz, Ken’s daughter and Marketing Director of Babbo Italian Eatery. “Baseball for Babbo is our way of carrying forward his legacy and his unwavering commitment to giving back.”
