Biography

Dr Sabbath completed both an undergraduate degree and Master’s Degree in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University before returning home to Nevada for medical school. He moved to Arizona to complete both his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at the University of Arizona. He has been on campus at John C Lincoln Medical Center since 2008.

Dr Sabbath is a general cardiologist, leader, and educator with a focus on general cardiology, cardiac echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and the education of cardiology fellows. He is board-certified in cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.

During his time at HonorHealth, he has served in extensive leadership roles at both the group and network levels, driving the growth of the cardiology group and its integration into the larger network.

Most recently, Dr. Sabbath has helped develop the HonorHealth Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, where he continues his leadership role as the Assocaite Program Director along with daily teaching responsibilities.

Research Interests & Focus

Adam Sabbath’s primary area of interest is in supporting cardiology fellows as they develop meaningful efforts in research that drive their own knowledge, benefit the greater medical community, and can be integrated into ongoing quality improvement within the fellowship and cardiovascular service line.
