Board-certified in radiation oncology, Dr. Christopher Biggs has a practical and intimate knowledge of current cancer treatment strategies. He co-founded Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2008, now the largest cancer care provider in Arizona, and one of the largest independent Oncology groups in the nation. He serves as co-chair of the Governing Board for the HonorHealth Oncology Service Line, as CMO of AZCCC, and as board chairman of Radiation Oncology for AZCCC. He has also served as Chair of the Banner Boswell Cancer Committee, Director of the Baptist Oncology Center and as radiosurgery specialist at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Dr. Biggs began his career in molecular cancer research, earning his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California under the Borchard Cancer Research Fellowship. He completed his M.D. at Stanford University and trained in Radiation Oncology at UCSF, where he served as chief resident.
A native of Phoenix, Dr. Biggs has a deep and abiding sense of community and belonging to Arizona and its rich communities. He lives in Scottsdale with his wife, a pediatrician, and near his two beautiful daughters.
