Biography

Ha Seung is a dedicated oncology nurse practitioner committed to improving patient access to cutting-edge cancer care through clinical trials. Her journey in oncology began in 2015 when she graduated as a Registered Nurse from Grand Canyon University.

With a passion for oncology care, she dedicated the next five years to gaining valuable experience in the field. In 2020, she furthered her education by earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, with a focus on family medicine, from Arizona State University. Since 2021, she has been serving as an oncology nurse practitioner/clinical research sub-investigator in oncology clinical trials at HonorHealth Research Institute. In this role, she is deeply involved in providing compassionate care while also pushing the boundaries of oncology treatment through innovative clinical trials.

Her primary focus lies in improving patient access to cancer care, with a particular emphasis on expanding access to – and participation in – clinical trials. She is dedicated to ensuring that all patients can benefit from cutting-edge treatments and research advancements.

Research Interests & Focus

Her research interests center on early-phase clinical trials, with a focus on genitourinary cancers and sarcomas. She is dedicated to advancing the development of novel therapies for patients with limited treatment options by serving as a sub-investigator in Phase I trials. Her work emphasizes patient safety, protocol adherence and high-quality data collection. She is particularly interested in improving access to early-phase studies for patients with rare and aggressive cancers. Through ongoing involvement in clinical research, she aims to contribute to the discovery of effective treatments and supports personalized innovative care in GU oncology and sarcoma management.
