Dr. Sharifi is an interventional cardiologist and Clinical Professor A.T. Still University. He is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, vascular medicine and nuclear cardiology.
He has published extensively and given speeches at national and international meetings. His recent interest is in the treatment of venous thromboembolic disease. He is the principal investigator of several major trials, including the MOPETT, ATLANTIS, TORPEDO, FILTER-PEVI and other studies.
