A Message From Our Program Leader

Our surgical program combines decades of experience with a strong commitment to research, focusing on improving treatments for obesity, diabetes, acid reflux and gastroparesis. Through clinical trials, we explore innovative devices and techniques to offer better outcomes and new options, especially for patients with limited alternatives. We continue to expand our efforts in this space, always seeking safer, more-effective solutions to improve patient care.

About Our Program

With decades of surgical expertise in gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, revision of prior bariatric procedures, hiatal hernia repair, and anti-reflux surgery, our program is committed to advancing surgical care through clinical research. Our studies focus on improving device technologies and surgical techniques in bariatric and gastrointestinal procedures, aiming to optimize outcomes and expand treatment options for patients.  Several of our clinical studies have explored new device-based treatments for conditions like obesity, diabetes, gastroparesis, and acid reflux. These trials tested innovative therapies such as nerve stimulation and gastric electrical devices to help improve symptoms and overall health. Offering alternatives for patients who had few other treatment options.
