A Message From Our Program Leader
I’m extremely proud of the team of dedicated clinician scientists that contribute to clinical investigation at the HonorHealth Research Institute. Our size, dedication and commitment are directly responsible for providing the latest innovations in the treatment of arrhythmias.
About Our Program
HonorHealth Research Institute is actively involved in cutting edge research in all aspects of Electrophysiology of Cardiac Arrhythmias, and our program is recognized worldwide.
Physicians at HonorHealth are involved with novel ablation techniques and technologies, new types of pacemakers and defibrillators, stroke prevention, arrhythmia monitoring, new heart failure devices and monitoring, and novel treatments for sleep apnea. This includes a comprehensive suite of new solutions for the treatment of atrial fibrillation. Our program has been actively refining treatments for atrial fibrillation, including hybrid surgical and robotic ablation.
HonorHealth electrophysiologists have been involved in both the development and testing of new leadless pacemaker systems that avoid surgery. The extensive degree of research performed has led to multiple “firsts” for the use of these lifesaving treatments in our community.
Our team consists of nine cardiac electrophysiologists and multiple providers, including advanced nurse practitioners, implantable device nurses, and dedicated research coordinators who assist with every aspect of clinical trial participation, making us the largest dedicated group of arrhythmia specialists in Arizona.
