A Message From Our Program Leader

We are committed to advancing non-surgical treatments for obesity in both adults and children, including those with rare genetic conditions. Through ongoing clinical research, we explore innovative devices and medications that offer safe, effective and personalized weight management options.

About Our Program

Our weight management program is committed to advancing non-surgical, device- and drug-based treatment options for both adult and pediatric patients, including those with rare genetic forms of obesity and related comorbidities. In collaboration with the Metabolic Program and Interventional Gastroenterology, we have led numerous clinical trials investigating innovative therapies, such as intragastric balloons, endoscopic procedures, and pharmacologic agents targeting the melanocortin-4 receptor pathway. Together, we continue to expand access to minimally invasive and personalized interventions, supporting long-term weight loss and improved metabolic health through evidence-based care.

Weight Management Research Facts and Figures
