Allison Young graduated from Riverside Community College in 2004 with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree and began her career at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California.
She has pursued Oncology/Hematology her entire career and worked at various institutions such as: Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) in Boise Idaho; Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale; and has been with HonorHealth since 2013.
She has held various roles in oncology as an inpatient nursing educator, outpatient infusion supervisor, and float nurse for Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center. For the last 4 years, she has served as the BMT Cellular Therapy research nurse. She obtained her MSN Ed in 2010, and has worked at both Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University as adjunct faculty.
