Biography

Amanda Romero is a Clinical Research Coordination Supervisor at HonorHealth Research Institute, where she leads and supports a broad portfolio of clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas, including Bariatric/GI, Cardiovascular, and Multi-Specialty. In this leadership role, she oversees day-to-day operations, supervises and mentors research staff, manages performance metrics, and ensures compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.

With over six years of progressive experience in clinical research and healthcare coordination, Amanda brings a strong foundation in study management, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. Prior to her current role, she served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Research Institute, leading trials from initiation through close-out and working closely with sponsors, CROs, and internal stakeholders to maintain data integrity and protocol adherence.

Earlier in her career, she held positions as a Clinical Research Technician and Patient Care Associate, contributing to patient-centered care and research support across hospital and outpatient settings. Amanda also brings academic research experience from Arizona State University, where she contributed to global public health and infectious disease studies.
