Brooke Gillespie, M.P.H., MBA, PMP, is the Pre Award Research Grant Project Manager with 10 years of experience in fund diversification, strategic planning, and capacity building for programs and projects within universities, non-profits, and healthcare systems.
Throughout her career, Brooke has successfully raised over $20 million through federal, state, and foundation funding opportunities.
Brooke joined HonorHealth Research Institute in July 2024. She handles all pre award activity for research grants within the Research Institute and HonorHealth Network, and works closely with the HonorHealth Foundation staff on additional projects.
Her scope of work for research grants includes grant prospecting, application timeline management, assisting with budget/project document creating, completing business operations documentation, compliance review, and institutional routing for approvals. She is dedicated to using her professional knowledge, Project Management Professional certification, and industry best practices to assist faculty in finding and applying to external grant funding for cutting edge research projects.
When not working, Brooke enjoys the outdoors by visiting the zoo, playing kickball, and heading to the river.
