Biography

Frederick Zlaket, M.D., MBA, is a native resident of Scottsdale. He earned his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Arizona State University in 2010 and then went on to study Medicine at Saint George’s University School of Medicine, completing his degree in 2016. Seeking to better serve patients, he completed his Masters in Global Management, with a focus on Healthcare Delivery, from Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2021.

He has assisted with exploring the potential of fungal toxin to inhibit the growth and formation of microbial biofilm. He has supported resident physicians with research in both medical school and in his time as a leader in healthcare business operations. He has a history of innovative collaboration, leading to a patent in a medical device assisting with patient care management.

Dr. Zlaket has a passion for patients, collaboration, innovation, learning and research, which brought him to HonorHealth Research Institute, where he serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator. He is grateful to work with an excellent team who all share his passion and mission “to Improve the health and wellbeing of those we serve.”
