Biography

Jay Jacoby is a Clinical Research Data Coordinator at HonorHealth Research Institute, where he supports Phase 1/2 oncology clinical trials with his team, aimed at advancing the highest level of cancer care. Jay also contributes to the Early Detection Program which provides awareness, education, screening, genetic testing, counseling and timely interventions.

With a background in social and behavioral sciences and post-baccalaureate studies in biological sciences, Jay bridges interdisciplinary insight with scientific rigor in Oncology research. As a recently published author in the Journal for Immunotherapy of Cancer, Jay is a dedicated member of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and grateful for exceptional mentorship of project opportunities.

His work with his team combines data precision with compassionate impact, helping shape top tier trials at the intersection of innovation and exceptional patient care. Known for his collaborative spirit, Jay thrives as part of a dynamic and outstanding team committed to transforming clinical discovery into meaningful outcomes.

He truly feels it is an honor to work with such a dedicated, brilliant team of people every day, across all departments, that provide exceptional care for our communities and beyond.

Jay is an active volunteer with HonorHealth and supports a canine rescue organization, a valley homeless shelter service, local first responders, two children’s hospitals, and several military and veteran support organizations in honor of his Father, Grandfather (a WW2 veteran 82nd Airborne 505th parachute infantry regiment) and many wonderful friends who proudly served and two who are actively serving.

Outside of the Institute, he enjoys time with family, friends, reading, concerts, hiking and anything with Golden Retrievers.
