As the Systems Manager at HonorHealth Research Institute, Kent leads the research technology portfolio encompassing clinical trial management systems (CTMS), electronic regulatory platforms, data integration interfaces, electronic data capture (EDC) systems, research analytics, new technology, and data storage infrastructure. Kent plays a critical role in aligning research operations with scalable and compliant technology solutions that support oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular, and other clinical research programs. He collaborates cross-functionally with clinical teams, compliance, finance, and sponsor partners to streamline workflows, reduce data redundancy, and enhance system performance. His leadership has guided the development of Power BI reporting, implementation of electronic consenting, integration of research workflows into Epic, and the adoption of Cloud Data and AI solutions to support smarter, faster decision-making. With a background spanning informatics, data architecture, platform implementation, and strategic project oversight, Kent is recognized for his ability to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and organizational priorities. Prior to his work at HonorHealth, Kent supported enterprise technology initiatives at national healthcare organizations, driving cross-site standardization and acquisition transitions.
