An Arizona native and devoted mother of three, Kristy Gustafson began her career as a real estate agent, serving clients for over a decade before discovering her true passion — nursing. In 2016, She transitioned into healthcare, starting with the oncology unit where she quickly found fulfillment in providing compassionate care. Her journey continued in 2019 when she joined the Research Institute, followed by five rewarding years in infusion therapy.
Currently, she serves as a research nurse with the Continuing Care Research Nursing team, working alongside Dr. Justin Moser on the melanoma team. She finds deep meaning in building strong relationships with patients and their families, supporting them through some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Outside of work, she cherishes time with her children, enjoy walks with her dogs, and loves baking sourdough bread and cookies. You can often find her exploring local markets and staying connected to her community.
