Dr. Kristy Osgood was trained at the Dayton, Ohio, VA Medical Center where she was introduced to research in the specialty of podiatric wound care. She was honored to be included in the development of the 1st prototype of the wound vac for complicated diabetic ulcerations.
In 2009, Dr Osgood was awarded the prestigious APMA-ADA Research Fellowship at the NIH/IHS Phoenix facility to continue her research training and endeavors. Since completing her research fellowship in 2011, she has coordinated and managed multiple clinical trials in Neurology and Rare Neuromuscular Disorders. Over her career, she has had the privilege of introducing multiple life changing neuromuscular research medications, 1st in the world and the U.S.
Dr. Osgood hopes the collaboration with these new innovated research studies will keep patients on their feet and walking.
