Lisa Wachendorf has worked in research for 20 years, starting in Oncology as a Research Coordinator. She moved to Arizona in 2017 to join the Cardiovascular Research Division at HonorHealth Research Institute as a Coordinator. Lisa joined the CTO team in August 2021 as an Associate Clinical Trials Specialist.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management in September 2025.
Prior to starting her research career, she was a clinic nurse in Radiation Oncology for 11 years and a floor nurse in orthopedics for 2 years. She loves working in research and having the opportunity to learn something new every day.
Lisa lives with her husband, has 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Lisa loves spending time outdoors and plans on exploring more of Arizona.
