Maegan Foltz, LMSW joined HonorHealth Research Institute in March of 2025 but has been with HonorHealth since 2021. She has been a social worker for several years, primarily in the medical and behavioral health setting. Maegan completed her Advanced Internship at HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center in the Oncology Unit, which is what originally inspired her to go into the medical field.
She has her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Northern Arizona University, where she graduated with honors. Maegan also holds an active license with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health.
Her primary role at the HonorHealth Research Institute will be to promote social, emotional, and financial well-being for patients, families, and team members. She looks forward to bringing her unique skill set to the Institute and is excited to support patients in a variety of meaningful ways.
Maegan is an Arizona native; the farthest away from home she moved was Flagstaff before returning to her sunny Phoenix roots.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Nyah and Titan, and with her husband. They love going for car rides, drinking crafted coffee, and enjoy a night in.
