After relocating to Hawaii, where she lived for 17 years, Mary made a significant career transition. Motivated by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Since entering the healthcare field, Mary has gained experience across multiple specialties, including: Research, Auditing, Homecare, Diabetes Education, Telehealth, Case Management and Clinical Informatics.
Throughout this diverse clinical career, one constant has remained: a persistent pull toward research. Whether contributing to data-driven decisions in informatics or exploring outcomes in patient care, Mary consistently finds fulfillment in investigative work and evidence-based practice.
