Nathan obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology and Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona. He began his career in clinical research with the University of Arizona, collecting data for a precision medicine initiative. Nathan became a site lead and managed a team of ten coordinators across multiple sites, while assisting in enrollment expansion across additional hospitals.
After more than four years, Nathan transitioned to a career at Banner Health, where he developed the protocol for a Cardiometabolic Health Registry, and gained experience with clinical drug and medical device trials within the trauma and cardiology divisions. He covered many investigator-initiated trials for the endocrinology, bariatrics and transplant divisions. During his time at Banner, Nathan gained experience in project management which inspired him to obtain the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
Following this new skillset, Nathan received an opportunity to join HonorHealth Research Institute, where he now oversees the portfolio for oncology network, focusing on phase 2-4 clinical trials.
