Biography

Nivedita Nandurkar has worked at HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center and HonorHealth Research Institute since 2022 as a Research Data Coordinator. She oversees and monitors Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), Electronic Data Capture (EDC), and effectively resolves queries. She facilitates sponsor-monitor visits, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to trial protocols. She tracks document protocol deviations, tumor progressions, and conducts study close-out visits. Nivedita has successfully managed and coordinated phase 1 and 2 clinical trials.

She previously collaborated with NAU’s Dr. Joel Terriquez, FMC, as a Research Assitant, 2016-18, where she oversaw all aspects of a Flinn Foundation-funded Research Project: “Defining Community Reservoirs of Infectious Agents through Regional Biobanking and Whole Genomic Analysis.”

She identified infectious-disease pathogens through genomic sequencing and performed bioinformatic comparisons between clinical and community strains.

She used genomic correlations to gain insights into the sources of infectious diseases, and to identify precision treatments for individual patients.

She helped established a comprehensive pathogen biobank.
