Biography

Shellie Vanderhoof is an experienced IRB program administrator with more than 23 years in research operations, regulatory compliance, and clinical research support.

At HonorHealth Research Institute she manages IRB operations and oversees daily review board functions that ensure full compliance with federal regulations and institutional policy.

Shellie brings deep experience from her work in the community hospital setting and HonorHealth, where she leads cross-functional initiatives that improved protocol turnaround time, submission accuracy and audit ready. Her background spans pre-clinical and clinical research environments, including lab-based research and federal compliance with IACUC, NIH and FDA regulations. She is highly skilled in IRB process optimization, research ethics, and regulatory interpretation, and she regularly contributes to institutional policy development and staff training.

Her schooling includes studies in general science at Glendale Community College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University.
