Susan Anderson was born and raised in Chicago, always wanting to move to Arizona. Susan earned her Bachelor’s Degree from ASU in Health Sciences in May 2019. After graduating she had no idea what she wanted to do, so she moved home to Chicago and worked as a hospital unit secretary for the Emergency Department. She moved back to Arizona, working in medical records at Mayo Clinic.
After her mom was diagnosed with stage 4 gallbladder cancer she knew that cancer research was her calling, and she became a Clinical Research Coordinator, specializing in solid tumor Oncology clinical trials. After 3 years, she joined the HonorHealth Research institute and is now Associate Clinical Trials Specialist.
