Terry Mclaughlin

Biography

Terry is a chaplain with more than 25 years of experience supporting patients and families in hospitals, hospice, and palliative care settings.  He has also recently served with the Arizona Department of Corrections as a chaplain. This journey to chaplaincy was inspired during his first post-seminary appointment as a pastor. He discovered his love of chaplaincy, through a hospital chaplaincy internship. Terry provides meaningful emotional and spiritual support to people of all faiths, backgrounds, and life experiences. He meets each person where they are, offering support that reflects their individual needs, values, and goals. He collaborates with patients and families to build on their strengths and discover meaning, comfort, and hope during life’s injurious trials.

Outside of work, Terry enjoys a great life with his amazing wife of 36 years, Trish, visiting his daughter and son-in-law in Eastern Europe via WhatsApp, playing with Bentley their mini Goldendoodle, and woodworking.
